41st Annual Spring Recital
Thank you to everyone in the community who supported our 41th Recital on May 10, 2025!

Our yearly showcase is a chance for students to demonstrate their dedication and personal progress in pieces choreographed by Dance Factory teaching staff. Dancers aged preschool to adult perform original works of ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, hip hop, and tap to classic and contemporary music.

Soloists from the 2025 Nutcracker
The Nutcracker 2025
The Dance Factory’s 34th annual production of The Nutcracker will be presented Saturday, December 13th at 7pm and Sunday, December 14th at 2pm at Springfield High School in Springfield, VT.

Tickets are available online through Eventbrite, at Tina's Hallmark and Woodbury Florist in Springfield, Sage Jewelry & Gifts in Chester, and at the door.

Our full-scale show is Vermont's longest-running Nutcracker. It delights nearly 1000 community members every year, has raised upwards of $25,000 for local arts initiatives, and has provided an invaluable pre-professional performance experience to hundreds of rural dancers. Participation is open to all Dance Factory ballet students in 2rd grade and above; students work their up to soloist roles that many studios outsource to hired professionals.

Additional Performances
Vermont State Dance Festival: Dancers in 8th grade and up can participate in a Repertory class in which they prepare original choreography to perform at the annual Vermont State Dance Festival, held each November in Lyndon, VT.
Community collaborations: Dance Factory students have the opportunity to perform at additional events throughout the year including Springfield On The Move’s Concerts at the Comtu series, Springfield Community Band’s children’s concert, showcases in district elementary schools, and more.
